Due: Photo due each Sunday at 11:59 pm, starting \u00c2\u00a0January 20, 2019, ending Sunday,\u00c2\u00a0April 21, 2019(No photos due March 3rd or 10th)<\/span><\/p>\nGoal:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0To give you an opportunity to express yourself in your photos beyond the standard journalistic assignment<\/p>\nAssignment:<\/strong><\/p>\nEach week you must take and post a single photo<\/p>\n
\nThis photo can be taken with any camera<\/strong> – D7200, phone, iPad, any device you like.<\/li>\nThe content MUST<\/span> include a person<\/span> and CANNOT be a self-portrait.<\/strong><\/li>\nIt CAN be of anyone else, in any situation you like – and be as traditional or crazy as you like(but needs to be appropriate for showing in class).<\/li>\n The photo MUST be taken during the week.But cannot be from your other class assignments.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nPost the photo by Sunday at midnight.<\/strong><\/p>\nBy Wednesday at 11:59 pm you MUST \u00c2\u00a0leave a comment for your favorite photo of the week – NOT simply ‘I like it’ or ‘It’s cool’ or ‘wow’ but a constructive comment that explains why you like this photo best.<\/p>\n
GRADING:<\/strong><\/p>\n5 points for posting your photo on time-1 point for posting to the <\/em>wrong folder<\/em>-1 point if you don’t add your name to the title field<\/em>0 points if there are no people in the photo5 points for leaving a comment<\/p>\n
5 BONUS points for\u00c2\u00a0the best photo to be determined by the comments from the class<\/p>\n
HOW TO POST<\/strong><\/h3>\n\nWe will be using the site Acclaim<\/strong>. You will have received a link via Canvas to Acclaim.\u00c2\u00a0PLEASE save that link.<\/li>\nRemember to leave a comment for EVERYONE else. \u00c2\u00a0Post by Sunday at midnight, comment by Wednesday at 11:59 pm.<\/li>\n NOTE that only jpeg files are supported.\n\nOther file types (raw, tif, etc.) would need to be converted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n PLEASE NAME THE IMAGE FILE WITH YOUR NAME\n\nJane_Smith for example<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n Return to the page to comment on other students\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 work, and respond to comments on your photos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nTO POST YOUR PHOTO:<\/strong><\/h2>\nGo to the Acclaim Link (You will receive the link at the start of the semester)<\/p>\n
