In addition to your individual project, I want to build a collection of voices – video interviews with a cross section of people – speaking about race and diversity and the issues that surround both.
These will be video interviews – no b-roll. Just the voice and face of a range of opinions. Â We’ll compile them in some interesting way on the website alongside your projects.
To start, we need to build a list of potential subjects.
Then we need to interview them!
I’m trying to line up President Barron – so that’s one.
Who else?? We want all sorts of voices and opinions – white and black, young and old, liberal and conservative, male and female, et.c and etc.
- By Sunday, January 29th, email me a list of at least five names of people you think would be interesting.
You will work in teams of two to shoot the interviews. I want a consistent high-quality look. We’ll talk about that. But plan on shooting with lights and two cameras and a wireless microphone for each interview.
