September 20  Tuesday

IN CLASS:  

**I’ll probably still be out of town. If I get back, we’ll work together. Either way, come to class and do this assignment in teams. You’ll be on your own, work in teams of two or three.**

Microphones for the DLSR                                                                                                          30pts

Watch the video on using the microphones as a class.

Then break up into groups of 2-4 people. You’ll need at least one camera per team and you’ll need to sign out a wireless microphone from the equipment room and a tripod.
Bring some AA batteries!!

Each of you should set up the wireless microphone and interview someone else in class.  Find a quiet place in the building our outside. Set up the shot with a tripod. Ask your classmate “Who is the most important person in their lives and why”  Get a solid answer. Make sure the audio quality is good.

We haven’t edited video yet, so just put the single video file, unedited, on the server before the end of class

Name it:  You_interview_them (Where ‘you’ is your name, and ‘them’ is their name.  So…..John_Smith_interview_Miriam_Brown.mov)
