On Newspaper Photography

Mike Davis is a long-time, very talented, photo editor. He blogs regularly about photography and is worth reading.

In this post he talks about the limits of the average newspaper photograph and offers some great suggestions at the end of the post:

Attitudes are easy to change – if you want to – and ability can be developed…

So give yourself a gift. See things you didn’t, go beyond what the assignment sheet says and defeat the bulleted points above. For yourself.”
