Short Attention Spans

The study is a few years old, but assuming the numbers are still true, nearly 20% of viewers stop watching a video in the first 10 seconds! And close to half (44%) are gone after a minute.

There is no reward for starting slow in your video – if you don’t get people’s attention right away, they won’t stick around.
